Hello from BEW! Summer has officially arrived—and with it, the exciting phase of action. After a spring filled with planning and preparation, we’re now switching focus and bringing all those ideas to life. This is the season where everything comes together: the events, the partnerships, and most importantly, the community that makes it all possible. We’re thrilled to announce that we will be returning to the High Sierra Music Festival this year! The festival takes place July 3rd–6th at the Plumas County Fairgrounds in Quincy, CA. High Sierra has always been a cornerstone of our summer, and we can’t wait to bring our energy, expertise, and enthusiasm to this year’s festivities. Exclusive for B.E.W. This year’s entertainment features The Agave Allstars, a unique collaboration of seasoned Bay Area musicians. Formed by Fletcher Nielsen (Tracorum) and Bo Carper (New Monsoon), with renowned drummer James Stafford, the group first came together to perform at the celebration of life for legendary chef Charles Phan. Their set at Starlight will also feature special guest vocalist Maysa Jane, a rising young star from San Francisco. If you're a fan of these artists, this is a one-time collaboration you won’t want to miss. Come up to Glen Ellen for the weekend, join us at Starlight, and enjoy an unforgettable evening. You’ll be supporting a vital community cause and experiencing a truly one-of-a-kind intimate band performance. Just let us know you’re fans—we’ll make sure to seat you close to the stage.  We’re also excited to continue our collaboration with Taylor Street Production on a couple of great events this summer.  A major highlight is the California Bluegrass Father's Day Festival, happening June 12th–15th. We’re deep in the details, ensuring smooth logistics for artists, vendors, and guests alike—so everyone can simply enjoy the music and the moment. We’re proud to be providing production support this summer for the Terrapin Roadshow presented by Paper Moon Presents. The Terrapin Roadshow kicked off in Monte Rio on May 31st and June 1st, followed by shows in San Rafael (July 18th–20th) and Truckee (August 17th). These gatherings are sure to bring the magic, and we’re proud to help bring them to life. Looking a bit ahead, as summer winds down, we’re gearing up for the Diplo Run Club, an eight-city 5K series that ends with a high-energy live show. We’re once again working alongside Taylor Street Production on this exciting project that carries us into fall with movement and music. We’ve nurtured the seeds of planning this spring, and now it’s time to watch them flourish. We’re in full action mode, and we can’t wait to share the journey with you. Productions & Events   Upcoming Events:  See All Upcoming Events Theresa's Tricks of the Trade:   Take Care of the Planner (That’s You!) When you’re in the thick of planning or managing an event, it’s easy to put your own needs last—but don’t forget about self-care! A few simple habits can make a big difference: Rest up before the event. A clear mind starts with a good night’s sleep. Stay hydrated. Bring a reusable water bottle and actually use it! Take a walk. If you need to check in with someone, turn it into a quick walking meeting. Step away (briefly). Even a few minutes outside can help you reset and refocus. Breathe deeply. Take 3–5 deep breaths between transitions or when you're feeling overwhelmed—it takes seconds but helps calm your nervous system. Create a mini recovery plan. Schedule a low-key day or even a few quiet hours after the event to rest and recharge.
